THE LITTLE ORVY TROPHY - Placing 1st to 6th or 1st to 4th

POINT SCORING.  Donated in 1982 by Carol Ann Blackman in memory of her beloved horse, Little Orvy, who won virtually every major jumping event in Bermuda, having won some of them many times.  Orvy was a true Champion, always giving his best performance in every competition.  It also honours his constant companion and friend Annie, the Nubian goat who always came to shows with him, to the delight of spectators.  It is therefore fitting that the Show Jumper of the Year be awarded this honour in his memory.  It is meant to honour the horse, who like Orvy, has been consistent in all (show jumping) endeavours.  Points count for classes in shows run according to the B.E.F Rules.  (Only B.E.F. designated classes to count, with the exception of the FEI/Jumping Challenge Category A & the Annual Exhibition Open Individual Bermuda Jumping Championship).
