9.00     Class 1 - DRIVING PONIES IN HAND, OPEN:

Driving Ponies to be shown in hand by Adult or Junior Competitors.

 

Class 1a - BERMUDA BRED PONIES:

(Sired or foaled in Bermuda) Confined to animals which will not exceed 14.2 hands when full-grown.

 

9.30     Class 2 - DRIVING HORSE IN HAND:

Driving Horses to be shown in hand by Adult or Junior Competitors.

 

10.00   Class 3 – OPEN PLEASURE DRIVING PONIES, SINGLE:

Adult to drive. To be shown to a suitable two or four wheeled vehicle. To be shown at a flat walk, park trot and brisk trot or pace. Extreme speed will be penalized. Must appear to have a perfect mouth, stand quietly and back readily. Light harness with snaffle bit and suitable over-checks or side-checks are required. Boots are prohibited. To be judged on manners, quality and performance.

 

10.30   Class 4 - CHILDREN’S PLEASURE DRIVING PONIES, SINGLE:

Mares or geldings only. To be harnessed to a two or four-wheeled vehicle capable of carrying a passenger. To be shown at a walk, trot or pace, by a junior exhibitor. Must stand quietly while lined up, without an attendant, and must back readily. To be judged on manners, quality, suitability of pony to driver, performance and appointments.

 

11.00   Class 5 - PLEASURE DRIVING HORSES, SINGLE:

Entries must appear to have perfect mouths. To be harnessed to a two or four-wheeled vehicle capable of carrying a passenger.  To be judged on manners and way of going 60%; vehicle and harness, appropriateness, condition 25%; attire and driving 15%; to be shown both ways of the ring and at a walk and trot; a flat walk is required; will be required to stand quietly and back readily.

 

11.30   Class 6 - LADIES PLEASURE, OPEN

 

12.00   Class 7 - RACING PONIES: Pacers

Harnessed to sulky or jogging cart. Drivers to wear stable colors. To be shown at a jog, road gait and speed with penalty for breaking gait. Judged on performance, speed, manners, conformation and appointments.

 

12.30   Class 8 - RACING PONIES: – Trotters

Harnessed to sulky or jogging cart. Drivers to wear stable colors. To be shown at a jog, road gait and speed with penalty for breaking gait. Judged on performance, speed, manners, conformation and appointments.

 

1:00     LUNCH

 

1.30   Class 9 - OPEN CARRIAGE CLASS, SINGLE:

Entries may be of any breed or combination of breeds. To be shown harnessed to a carriage at a walk and trot, and will be required to back.  Judged on manners and performance 60%; conformation and appointments 40%.  As part of the performance, entries may be required to complete tasks as a group. Errors will incur penalties.

 

2.00     Class 10 - GOLF BALL RACE

 

2.30     Class 11 - SACK RACE TO MUSIC

 

3.00     Class 12 - OBSTACLE COURSE

 

3.30     Class 13 - OPEN CARRIAGE CLASS, DOUBLE:

Entries may be of any breed or combination of breeds. To be shown harnessed to a carriage at a walk and trot, and will be required to back.  Judged on manners and performance 60%; conformation and appointments 40%. As part of the performance, entries may be required to complete tasks as a group. Errors will incur penalties.

 

4.00     Class 14 - BEST PONY IN SHOW

 

4.30     Class 15 - BEST HORSE IN SHOW
