After extensive discussions and negotiations between the IOC, the
FEI, and National Federations the final criteria for deciding
country eligibility has not yet been finalised, and we await
confirmation from the FEI.
However the one thing that is certain is that any potential
candidate for selection and consideration for the Youth Olympic
Games 2010 must obtain a Certificate of Capability by completing the
first round of the Category A of the World Jumping Challenge with no
more that eight jumping penalties. This means that any Bermuda rider
born in 1992 or 1993 who wishes to be considered for the Youth
Olympic Games must enter the FEI competition which has been
scheduled for Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th February 2010 at the
National Equestrian Centre.
Overall individual results will count towards the final selection
