Junior riders Anna Franklin and Raishun Burch embark on a very exciting trip
next Tuesday 15th July when they leave for La Chabraque in Southern France
on a three week exchange programme. . |
|
|
They will be going to a show jumping training facility located near
Toulouse, and which is operated on a year round basis as a school for junior
riders from France. During the summer two riders are invited from a
number of other countries such as Bermuda, Brazil, Turkey, England, Belgium,
with two of the French riders then going to that country for three weeks of
riding experience. . |

The course ends with an unofficial competition amongst the countries. . |
|
|
Riders have to take care of the horses during their stay, but there is
plenty of opportunity to participate in other activities in the region such
as river rafting, hill climbing and local culture. . |
|
|
Anna and Raishun have been successful in local competitions and were
selected based upon their desire to further the experience. . |
