GERMANY TRIP FOR LOCAL RIDERS

RE FEI/PSI Dressage and Show Jumping Challenge 2002.
The riders who were placed first in their Group in the Children's Dressage Competition and first and second in jumping Category 'A' have been invited to Germany this summer.
Kristina Gibbons in dressage and Catrina Adcock and Philip Correia in Jumping will be going to Osnabruk, Germany in August at the invitation of PSI (Performance Sports International) sponsors of the challenge competitions.  Each of the ten world wide groups will be sending riders to compete on borrowed horses provided by the sponsors.  The competition is from August 4th to August 11th 2003, and is a wonderful opportunity for our competitors to be exposed to a higher level.

Congratulations to Kristina, Catrina and Philip.

We have received an additional invitation this week for Dressage rider Paula George to go to Germany in August.

Paula's opportunity comes about due to the withdrawal of the Barbados riders who are concentrating on sending a team to the Pan Am Games in Santo Domingo.

Paula has been our only rider competing locally at Prix St. George level for some time.

Congratulations to Paula.
